RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

This document has been developed in accordance with the provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection” and regulates the relationship between the buyer and the seller regarding the terms, conditions and procedure for the return or exchange of goods purchased on velma.kyiv.ua.

1. THE RIGHT TO RETURN AND EXCHANGE GOODS

1.1. Terms and conditions for returning goods of good quality

You have the right to exchange or return a non-food product of good quality if it does not satisfy you in terms of shape, size, style, colour, size or for other reasons cannot be used for its intended purpose, during

  • Ukraine: 14 days.
  • UK and EU: 30 days.

The goods you want to exchange or return must meet the following requirements:

  • Not in use and has no signs of use: scratches, chips, scuffs, etc.
  • Preserved presentation and consumer properties.
  • All seals and labels are preserved (including the original packaging).
  • Provided by. settlement document (receipt or invoice) confirming the purchase.

1.2. Exceptions (Goods that cannot be returned)

List of goods that cannot be returned or exchanged on the grounds provided for in clause 1.1, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (in accordance with Annex No. 3 to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 19 March 1994 No. 172).

1.3. Goods with individually identifiable properties

Buyer. has no right to refuse from the goods of good quality with individually determined properties, if the said goods can be used exclusively by the Buyer who purchased them (including goods made to the Buyer's individual order, non-standard sizes, characteristics or appearance).

2. EXCHANGE AND RETURN PROCEDURE

2.1. Algorithm of actions

  1. Message: Contact our manager by phone +38097-001-11-30 or by email vkfvelma@gmail.com and inform us of your intention to exchange or return the goods.
  2. Sending: Send the goods together with the completed Application for a refund (the form can be provided by the manager) and a copy of the settlement document (cheque/invoice).
  3. Return address: Sending is carried out to the address specified in the «Contacts» section of the website or to the agreed details of Nova Poshta/Ukrposhta.
  4. Payment for delivery: Return of the Goods of good quality is carried out at the expense of the Buyer and the Seller shall not be reimbursed to the Buyer.

2.2. Exchange for a similar product

If a similar product is out of stock at the time of your request, you have the right:

  1. Purchase any other product from the available range with the cost transferred.
  2. Get a refund in the amount of the value of the returned goods.

3. REFUND

3.1 Return period

Refunds are made by within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the moment of receipt of such Goods by the Seller and inspection of their condition, subject to compliance with all requirements stipulated by this Policy and the current legislation of Ukraine.

3.2. Method of return

The funds are returned by bank transfer to the Buyer's account.

  • When paying by bank card (Monobank WP Payment, Liqpay, PayPal): the refund is made to the same card or account from which the payment was made.
  • If you pay in cash (cash on delivery): the refund is made by bank transfer to the details provided by the Buyer.

4. GOODS OF INADEQUATE QUALITY (WARRANTY CASES)

In case of detection of defects in the Goods during the established warranty period, the Buyer personally, in the manner and within the time limits established by the legislation of Ukraine, has the right to make claims to the Seller provided for by the Law of Ukraine «On Consumer Protection», in particular:

  • Free elimination of defects (repair).
  • A proportional reduction in price.
  • Reimbursement of expenses for the elimination of deficiencies.
  • Exchange for a similar product of good quality.
  • Returning the goods and receiving the amount paid.

4.1 Remedial action and liability

In case of claims for free elimination of defects, the period for their elimination shall be calculated from the date of receipt of the Goods by the Seller at its disposal. The Seller is not responsible for the defects of the Goods, that arose after its transfer to the Buyer as a result of the Buyer's violation of the rules of use or storage of the Goods, actions of third parties or force majeure.

Costs of delivery of goods of inadequate quality (defects) rely on the Seller.

5. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS AND EXCHANGES (UK AND EU)

5.1. Terms for international buyers 

The buyer has the right to return or exchange goods of good quality within 30 calendar days from the moment the order is received.

5.2. Return procedure

  • To initiate a refund, send a request to vkfvelma@gmail.com. We will send you instructions and the necessary customs documentation.
  • Important: When sending goods from abroad (especially from the UK), the buyer must clearly mark the parcel as “RETURNED GOODS” (Return of goods) on the customs declaration. This is necessary to avoid repeated charging of customs duties when importing goods into Ukraine.

5.3. Delivery costs and customs duties

  • The cost of return delivery of goods of good quality is fully paid Buyer..
  • Initial shipping costs, as well as import duties, taxes and levies (e.g. UK VAT or EU VAT) paid by the Buyer, are non-refundable by the Seller. The Buyer may attempt to recover these funds by contacting their local customs office directly.

5.4. Refunds (International transactions)

Refunds will be made within 14 days after we receive the goods. The funds will be returned to the same account or card from which the payment was made within 3 to 7 banking days, depending on the rules of your bank

5.5. Goods of inadequate quality (International warranty) 

In case of receiving damaged or defective goods, please contact us within two days after receiving the parcel by sending a photo of the damage. In such cases, the issue of replacement or refund is decided on an individual basis, and the Seller bears the cost of delivery.
